Athletics and rural sports competition and prize distribution ceremony in Chauddagram Upazila organized by District Sports Office Comilla.
Comilla District Sports Office under the annual sports program 2023-24 of the Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth and Sports 'Chauddagram Haji Zafar Ali Government Pilot High School. Participation of students from various clubs and educational institutions in the field 06/02/2024 AD. Date Athletics and Rural Sports Competition completed. District Sports Officer, Comilla Mr. Md. Nazim Uddin Bhuiyan presided over the function and Mr. JP Dewan, Upazila Executive Officer, Chauddagram, Comilla was present as the chief guest. Mr. Rupam Sengupta, Principal Chouddagram Haji Zafar Ali Government Pilot Model High School, Mr. Alamgir Hossain Biplab, General Secretary, Upazila Sports Association, Chouddagram, Comilla were present as special guests. In his speech, the chief guest said that it is very important to focus on sports along with education. Everyone needs to work to get kids involved in sports. In his speech, the President called upon everyone to participate in such competitions for the purpose of spreading sports and developing sports talent at the grass root level. At the athletics and rural sports competition and prize distribution ceremony, teachers of various schools, students and local dignitaries, including journalists, Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque, Office Assistant (retired), District Sports Office Comilla, Mr. Md. Farhad Hossain, Office Assistant cum Computer Typist , District Sports Office, Comilla was present.
