Kabaddi competition and prize distribution program organized by District Sports Office Comilla
The participation of students from various clubs and educational institutions in the field 'adjacent to Gouripur Union' organized by Comilla District Sports Office under the annual sports program 2023-24 of the Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. 04/02/2024 Date Kabaddi competition is over. District Sports Officer, Comilla Mr. Md. Nazim Uddin Bhuiyan presided over the event and Mr. Arfatul Alam Upazila Executive Officer, Daudkandi, Comilla was present as the chief guest. Mr. AKM Fazlul Haque, Upazila Secondary Education Officer, Daudkandi, Mr. Md. Noman Mia Sarkar, Chairman, Gouripur Union Parishad, and Mr. Md. Khorshed Alam, General Secretary, Upazila Sports Association, Daudkandi, Comilla were present as special guests. In his speech, the chief guest said that it is very important to focus on sports as well as education to build a healthy nation in building a smart Bangladesh. Everyone needs to work to get kids involved in sports. In his speech, the President called upon everyone to participate in such competitions for the purpose of spreading sports and developing sports talent at the grass root level. In the Kabaddi competition and prize distribution ceremony, teachers of various schools, students and local dignitaries, journalists including Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque, Office Assistant (retired), District Sports Office Comilla, Mr. Md. Farhad Hossain, Office Assistant cum-Computer Numerologist, District Sports Office, Comilla was present.
